The Thuthuka Bursary Fund, established by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), is an initiative aimed at transforming the accountancy profession in South Africa.

SAICA, the leading accountancy body in the country, has a rich history dating back to 1894.

Over the years, the organization has built a reputation for providing exceptional support to its members while fostering the development of young, aspiring chartered accountants.

Through the Thuthuka Bursary Fund, SAICA reaffirms its commitment to diversity, education, and the empowerment of underrepresented communities.

About the Thuthuka Bursary Fund

This fund evolved from the earlier CAs’ Eden Trust and remains dedicated to addressing the financial and structural barriers faced by aspiring accountants.

What sets the Thuthuka Bursary Fund apart is its holistic and integrated support model.
