Pyrotec Bursary Coverage
The bursary offers comprehensive financial support, covering:
- Registration and tuition fees (paid directly to the institution).
- Textbooks (up to R5,000 annually).
- Accommodation in university residences or hostels.
- Transport allowance (paid directly to the student).
Payments are made once per academic year, ensuring students have the resources needed to excel.
Eligibility Requirements for the Pyrotec Bursary
Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the bursary:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be an AA/EE candidate.
- Be studying or planning to study in one of the approved fields.
- Be registered or accepted at a South African university.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in the chosen field of study.
- Preference will be given to first-year students with a minimum overall average of 70%.
Steps to Apply
- Complete the Pyrotec Bursary Application 2025 form online.
- Submit the following supporting documents:
- Certified copy of your ID document.
- A certified copy of your matric certificate or highest qualification is required.
- Proof of university registration or acceptance (on institution letterhead).
- Motivational letter explaining why you deserve the bursary (1 page).
- Proof of address (for transport allowance applicants).
- Study-related quotes or invoices for tuition, textbooks, accommodation, and travel expenses (if applicable).
