Moshal Scholarship Program 2025
The Moshal Scholarship Program offers financial assistance to South African students pursuing degrees in STEM and Commerce at selected universities in the country.
The scholarship covers full tuition funding, living and meal allowances and provides additional support services to ensure the academic success of its recipients.

Eligibility Requirements for the Moshal Scholarship
To be eligible for the Moshal Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen or have permanent residency status in South Africa.
- Be enrolled in or planning to enroll for a full-time undergraduate degree in one of the specified fields of study at a participating university in 2025.
- Have achieved a minimum of 70% for English, Mathematics, Physical Science, and/or Accounting in their Matric exams.
- Demonstrate financial need, with a family income of not more than R200 000 per annum before deductions.

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your application:
- ID document copy
- Passport copy and study visa copy (if not a South African citizen)
- Parents or guardians’ ID copies
- Declaration/Consent Form signed by parents or guardian (if you are under 18 years old)
- Proof of all Social Grants (letter or statement, not copy of SASSA card) OR parents or guardians 3 months’ bank statements from ALL of their bank accounts OR affidavit stating they don’t have a bank account
- Grade 11 November results
Selection Process
The Moshal Scholarship Program selection process is based on academic merit, financial need, and motivation.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview. Successful applicants will be notified via email, while unsuccessful candidates will be informed via email.
