To qualify for the bursary, applicants must:

Be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35.
Reside within the Ingquza Hill Local Municipality, Eastern Cape.
Have completed Matric.
I plan to study towards an undergraduate qualification in the listed fields in 2025.
Be accepted or enrolled at a recognized South African university.
Meet the university’s academic requirements.
Have a household income of R350,000 or less per annum.

This bursary offers financial assistance to cover tuition, prescribed textbooks, and accommodation fees based on a university-approved fee structure.

Signed application letter addressed to the Municipal Manager (with the Ward Councillor’s official stamp).
Certified Matric certificate.
Proof of application or acceptance from a university.
University fee quotation (including textbooks and accommodation costs).
Proof of household income (payslips, affidavits, or grant proof).
Proof of residence.
