Foskor is a South African mining company specializing in phosphate rock mining, phosphate-based fertilizers, and phosphoric acid production.
The company’s operations are spread across Phalaborwa, Limpopo, and Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.
Foskor Bursary Programme 2025
The Foskor Bursary Programme is designed to support talented and deserving students pursuing higher education in fields critical to the company’s and the country’s future.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Foskor Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of Matric
- Minimum 60% in Mathematics and Science or Commercial subjects at a higher grade
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate program within one of the specified fields of study
- Enrollment at a recognized and accredited University in South Africa
- Not in receipt of any other bursary funding
- Open to all talented and deserving students regardless of race or gender
Fields of Study
The Foskor Bursary Programme supports students pursuing degrees in the following fields:
- Accounting (BCom)
- Electrical Engineering
- Law
- Management Science (majoring in Business Analytics) (BCom)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgy
- Mining Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
How to Apply
To apply for the Foskor Bursary Programme, eligible students must submit the following documents:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of the Matric certificate
- One-page CV including contact details
- Proof of registration at a tertiary institution indicating the field of study (on the institution’s letterhead)
Applications must be sent via email to bursariesphb@foskor.co.za, withattention to Ms K Modiba, with “FOSB###” (### is the year of application, e.g., “FOSB2024”) as the subject line.
Application Closing Date
The application deadline for the Foskor Bursary Programme is 14 April 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
