Key Details for Applicants

Target People: The bursary is open to South African citizens residing in the Western Cape who demonstrate academic excellence and pursue studies in the hospitality and events sectors.

Level of Study: Applicants must be studying towards an NQF-aligned qualification.

Fields of Study

The bursary is available for students in the following fields:

  • Hospitality Management
  • Patisserie
  • Conference & Events Management
  • Food & Beverage Management

Institutions: The bursary supports studies at accredited institutions offering qualifications in the specified fields.

Closing Date: The deadline for application submissions is Friday, 10 January 2025, at noon. Late applications will not be considered.

Eligibility Requirements for CTICC Bursary

To qualify for the CTICC Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Reside in the Western Cape.
  • Maintain a pass average of 65% or higher based on the latest academic results.
  • Be studying towards an NQF-aligned qualification in one of the following fields:
    • Hospitality Management
    • Patisserie
    • Conference & Events Management
    • Food & Beverage Management

What does CTICC Bursary cover?

The CTICC Bursary covers the following expenses for the 2025 academic year:

  • Textbooks
  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Examination fees

Required Documents

The following documents must be included with your application:

  • Proof of registration or an acceptance letter from your institution.
  • Latest academic results.
  • A certified copy of your South African ID.
  • Proof of residential address.

Bursary Agreement

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview during the selection process. Successful applicants will also be required to sign a bursary agreement with CTICC.
