The bursary offers financial support covering tuition fees and other related expenses aimed at enabling students to focus on their academic pursuits.
Note: The bursary cannot be used to settle existing loans or debts.
Who can apply for Cape Agulhas Municipality Bursary?
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- It resides within the Cape Agulhas Municipal area in the Western Cape Province.
- Have completed Matric.
- I am studying or intend to study full-time in one of the eligible fields in 2025.
- Be accepted or registered at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Have a total household income not exceeding R20,000 per month.
Steps to Apply
To apply for the Cape Agulhas Municipality Bursary:
- Download and complete the Cape Agulhas Municipality Bursary Application Form 2025.
- Submit the completed application form along with the following supporting documents (certified copies where indicated):
- ID document.
- Matric certificate or final results.
- December 2023 and September 2024 academic results.
- Please provide the latest academic progress report if you are currently studying.
- Proof of application or admission from your tertiary institution, including projected study duration, course scope, tuition costs, and banking details.
- A motivational letter supporting your application.
- Parents or guardians’ ID documents.
- Parents or guardians’ proof of income (latest payslips, affidavit if unemployed, or evidence of grant/pension if applicable).
- Proof of residence within the Cape Agulhas municipal area (municipal account or statement).
