Key Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Investec Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed Matric or be currently in Matric.
- Intend to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree in one of the eligible fields.
- Plan to enroll at a recognized and accredited public university in South Africa.
- Achieve a minimum of 70% in Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) in Matric.
- Achieve at least 70% for English First Additional Language (FAL) or 65% for English Home Language (HL).
- Score a minimum of 50% in all other subjects.
- If already in university, maintain a minimum overall average of 60% for the first semester.
- Actuarial Science applicants must be in their first year of study unless pursuing a Business Science degree at the University of Cape Town.
