Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a completed Matric certificate
- Be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a recognized South African institution
- Maintain a minimum overall average of 65% from the first year of tertiary education onwards
- Be willing to relocate to the Western Cape (Bellville/Stellenbosch) or Gauteng (Sandton/Johannesburg)
- Have a clear credit and criminal record
- Demonstrate ambition, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset

Applications for the Capitec Bursary must be submitted online.
