African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) invites South African students to apply for its bursary program for the 2025 academic year.
ARM Bursary Programme 2025
The bursary program supports students pursuing Undergraduate to Honours studies in fields aligned with ARM’s operational needs.
ARM strives to develop local talent, contributing to skills development and strengthening the host community.

Bursary Coverage
The ARM Bursary provides comprehensive financial support for the duration of your studies, including:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Textbooks
- Laptop
- Accommodation in university residence
- Meals
ARM will contact shortlisted candidates within 21 days after the closing date. Applicants who do not receive feedback should consider their applications unsuccessful. The final selection involves a panel interview and psychometric assessments.
Who Can Apply For ARM Bursary?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed Matric.
- Be enrolled at one of the listed universities (UCT, UP, SU, NWU).
- Be pursuing studies in one of the listed fields.
- Have completed your first year of research and be entering your 2nd or higher year (up to Honours level) in 2025.
- Have a strong academic record.
- Not currently receiving funding from any other bursary program.

- Prepare an email application:
- Use the subject line: “ARM Bursary 2025.”
- Attach the following documents:
- Certified copy of your ID document
- Certified copy of your Matric certificate
- University academic record (on institution letterhead)
- University acceptance letter (on institution letterhead)
