  7. Preference is given to African, Indian, and Coloured students to promote diversity and inclusion

Steps to Apply

  1. Download and complete the application form
  2. Gather the required supporting documents, including:
    • Certified copy of your ID document
    • Your most recent academic transcript
    • Certified copies of your parents’ or guardians’ ID documents
    • Proof of household income (payslips, pension slip, affidavit if unemployed)
    • Home loan statement, council rates, or rental agreement
    • Latest three months’ bank statements (applicant and parents/guardians)
    • Financial checks affidavit (downloadable from the scholarship site)
  3. Submit your application at your university’s bursary office.

Application Deadline

The deadline to apply for the Mike Brown Scholarship is 15 February 2025.
